Happy Birthday to me! I made through the hardest year of my life. My mom who is 91, fell sick on my Birthday last year and was very ill and she is almost fully recovered! It took a lot of care and work It's amazing to see her active again. She is walking without a cane!

💛💫 Yesterday marked 13 years since my Dad passed. I was agitated all day without knowing why until it hit me this morning. Most of us will only have a handful of people who our soul will still ache for a decade after they've gone. Take time to cherish your handful today.

@animallovr2 It's been so long ago that I'm good day to day, it's just the anniversary of his passing that kicks me in the teeth. I feel like the fact that I didn't spend the week leading up to it filled with dread in preparation is a sign that at least that part is healed. 💛✨

@JenBennX No. This recipe is from kingarthurbaking.com and is called “everyday French bread”. It does require starting a day before you bake it, but it’s all hands off time til you make the actual loaves.
