I posted on my book bday looking for hospice care for my dad. On Monday, he passed. We had a complicated relationship but I loved him. I’m blessed to have friends esp. @kellyekell @YasAWriter & @jesslourey who sent these. They’ll stay at his favorite place in my house-my piano.

Thanks for all your well wishes on my book birthday. Today, I spent the day with my mom, driving around the Valley to select hospice care for my dad. Though this wasn't what I had in mind for today, it was special in a different way. Trust: One day, you'll read about this....

Incredibly excited about the release of THE LEFTOVER WOMAN in October, but also working on my next novel. Just on a research trip to visit Harvard and now in a house in the Berkshires to get some intensive writing done w/ laptop and lucky crystals. ✨⭐️✨ Feeling so grateful.🥰
