@bunsenbernerbmd Oh I know! In the doggy daycare business we sometimes see these curly coated breeds neglected in the grooming area because folks don't get all of the facts before adopting, it's really hard on the pet. Love your histories!

It is with a very heavy heart to say we lost our beautiful, sweet, Rose at 1:30am where she went to the Bridge. 🌈🌹😭❤️🐾
She was rallying somewhat too and the Vet was shocked to see this happen and thinks it was a stoke or heart attack.
Rose 🌹was the sweetest dog we ever owned. Never mean, just happy, loved to eat and be with us. A very good dog.
This tribute is long but comes from our broken hearts which will take a long time healing. She now is with her best buddy Olive.

Doug passed away Tuesday afternoon. He could no longer walk on his own and he told us it was time. He went so peacefully. He felt no pain. The sun was shining. It was such an honor to be Doug's person. He taught me infinitely more than I taught him. I adopted him knowing he wouldn't be with me long, and I'm so incredibly grateful we got 3 years. We made the most of them. Doug's presence had such a weight to it. He was impossible to ignore for many reasons, his size only one of them. I told him the foundation he inspired will help dogs well beyond his time here. I think he always thought that was pretty cool. You're stardust again, Douggy. Come back to me in whatever form you like. I'll know it's you. And to whoever is with him now, please give him your love. He gave so much of his. 15/10 ❤️
