This makes me wonder if Pope Leo XIV has heard of or knows of Mattie Stepanek. @Mattie_Matters I may be agnostic of sorts but I'd like to see Mattie beatified in my life time at least because like Donal, Mattie's faith and writing inspires.

Stepanek, this young American poet who died at the age of 13 battled a rare form of muscular dystrophy. A best selling author, Mattie Stepanek’s Catholic faith played a significant role in his life and inspired much of his poetry and philosophy, which often reflected themes of faith, hope, and spirituality.
