Its not a councillor salary of just over £25k, the only other income listed is his business JSK23 CONSULTANCY LIMITED which as of yesterday was breached the deadline on being struck off by the crown for not not submitting accounts made up to 30 April 2025 due by 2 January 2026.🤔

💥Keir Starmer facing perilous 24 hours which is critical to his survival as PM - Wes Streeting allies say he he’s prepared to go for leadership if Starmer’s premiership falls apart - but that he won’t make first move - and that he has relayed this message to Downing Street. - But health secretary understood to be aware that a contest may not happen without him triggering it - and some supporters feel now is his best chance. - Angela Rayner has warned of need for change of direction in first statement since election results. “What we are doing isn’t working, and it needs to change. This may be our last chance.” - Former deputy PM says it was a “mistake” to block Andy Burnham’s return to Parliament - and that while issues facing Labour are “bigger than personalities” Starmer needs “best players” on pitch. - Catherine West, a Labour backbencher, has already said she’ll challenge PM for leadership on Monday if he does not set out timetable to resign. Separately, about 40 MPs have already called on Starmer to step down/ set out exit plan. - But backers of Andy Burnham - who were among first out of traps on Friday calling for PM to set out timetable - have been trying to persuade West to withdraw challenge as he wouldn’t have time to get back. - Starmer is determined to fight on, his allies say, but even they acknowledge he has to give speech of his political life on Monday to keep Labour MPs on board - and there are doubts it will be enough. - Labour MPs feeling desperate after elections - but many also concerned about chaos a contest could unleash, are anxious about who would take over and - crucially - what they would do. Many think if you’re going to make a change - do it closer to next election.

Yesterday I walked away from Scottish Labour HQ, ending six weeks with @AnasSarwar's campaign.
Outside the office were blue flashing lights, I walked past a police officer desperately providing CPR to someone tucked out of sight in a dark corner of an underpass. Another officer held impatient traffic, horns blaring. I thought about the 66% increase in rough sleeping in Glasgow. I thought about Scotland - the drugs death capital of Europe.
I thought about five more years of the SNP.
I crossed the Clyde, spilling out of a grand abandoned hotel were a group of teens who’d forced the door to explore the 174 unused rooms. As I walked alongside them, they pointed out the grate to my building's carpark and questioned whether it too could be kicked through. I thought about our failure to leave the world a better place for our children.
I thought about five more years of the SNP.
