I know I’m posting into the void & no one will say anything, but this is the only place I have.
Max, my constant companion for the last 18 years, passed away this morning.
I am beyond heartbroken.
This is my Max from two days ago.
My heart is being ripped out of my chest .
This man taught me to change a clutch, throw a curveball, roll a kayak, read critically, sing loudly and off key, question authority, challenge myself, participate locally, climb mountains, grow things, love fiercely, live passionately. RIP dad. Xoxo forever.
I was challenged by @Mtamhector to post the covers of 7 books I love without explanations/reviews. I will challenge someone new each day. 1 cover/day for a week. For day 1 I challenge @ysant683
Never underestimate the power of the small things in your life. What are the small things in your personal and work life that, when brought together, make a big impact?
"When you're talking about student discipline, a lot of times we are punitive because it's faster and restorative takes more time, but restorative practices are better longer term." edut.to/2KjaXgi
Loved having my mentor come in and read to my students. No one reads to a class like Mrs. Epstein. Sharing the power of reading. Building life long learners! Please come back and read to us again! @CookePride@TammyMangus#thegrouchylqdybug
