$SPY I took a chance with a single contract Call over the weekend, we were oversold + volume was low on selling Friday got out at open today, a quick single contract put scalp and $110 later, < 30 min into the day I’m out because I already knew this was gonna be a big mess today.

Would he receive congressional authorisation for such an enormous undertaking? Doubtful, unless he could articulate—with credible evidence—the likelihood Iran posed imminent danger.
This looks like an excursion of whim, and the bigger questions should be as to why.
He is royally screwing up the global economy here, and not sure Gulf states are sure of what they have “bought”

Feels like everyone on X is violently against it but not sure if that's the right sample size
And has the reaction to wars always been like this? Iraq, Vietnam, etc
Feels like 9/11 gave a lot of pro-war momentum/narrative (we need to control terrorism)
Vs today all I read is how bad of an idea the Iran war was, how much Trump screwed up, etc
