We’re concerned the new local COVID-19 guidance falls short of the practical and financial support the most vulnerable people need, especially those who can't work from home. We’re part of a coalition calling on the government to rethink its plans in England.

@Jodaius @Essex_CC It doesn’t matter. You’ll be saying “should have done this sooner” if they didn’t act now and infection and death rates go up. It’s called being reactive to a threat. I’m happy not to see friends for a while if it means more people survive.

Question: In our wider family’s experience of Covid there were no runny noses. It’s clear that a return to school and the normal re-emergence of the common cold is causing havoc, with huge numbers of tests being done & coming back negative, Should we re-examine symptoms list?

@Pwareingfsltd @unclehohoho @asthmauk Unfortunately this guidance does little as it is not possible for many, as we are required to go work where distancing cannot be done. Guidance says ‘advised’ implying optional for employers. Distancing for high risk groups won’t happen until the guidance states ‘must’.
