This is America's exceptional problem. Between 2009-2018 there were 288 school shootings in the US, the next highest number was in Mexico, 8. Sth Africa had 6. India, 5. Pakistan, 4. There is no evidence mental health problems are higher in the US than in any of those countries.

Dear @elonmusk, data control is the precondition for data dignity. Ethical tech is not zero sum and we should stop seeing it as a principle that exists in tension with monetization, free speech or user experience.
