Trump clearly doesn’t know Canadians — he’s got us from every political stripe coming together like it’s a Team Canada game. Haven’t seen this much unity since we all agreed on poutine.

On a personal level, if you want to find ways to fight back, shop local and buy Canadian. Where you spend your money—those are some of the most important decisions that you make.

@TheBoeskool @CRCNA My local congregation is keeping me, at least for now, because we are a community of folks who are willing to communicate kindly and affirm the gifts of everyone who selflessly loves Jesus. What we’ll do after synod though… I don’t know.

I grew up in the @CRCNA. My grandfather was a CRC minister. I went to @Calvin_Uni. Even though I'm no longer a member, to see #crcsynod embrace & codify bigotry & exclusion in this way just GRIEVES me. I mean, DENYING BAPTISM TO THE CHILDREN OF GAY COUPLES? What in the world?!?

@jonassink Absolutely mind boggling. And suggesting to cease debate because the conversation is "devolving" because he won't intervene when the reporter inserts himself is wild.

Summary of Chair's response to a concern of reporter addressing delegate's comment: "Don't want the reporter to speak to other matters beyond the report? Don't say things from the microphone that might provoke the reporter to do so." It's so evident where loyalties lie #crcsynod
