@skcopeland Most cities don’t have the opportunity to do this. NKC is extremely lucky that the roadway and traffic and desire of the community chose this which aligned with so many other things going on. Such a great place to live and visit!!

Plan was approved by City Council on 12/05/17 & formally adopted on 1/04/18.

We put in the parking protected bike lane. @JenniferPangbor parked her car “in the middle of the street.” We even moved the bus stop temporarily.

#NorthKC Fire Dept took this shot with their drone this morning. 😍 The northeast corner of this intersection (lower right in the photo) will get a big upgrade this fall.

Some of my fav pics from Moscow include their beautiful transit system. Oh the colors and lines and locations they covered around the city. Two minute headways was pretty sweet too!!
