A customer of food brand @goustocooking posted this door cam footage to social media after the DPD driver was seen flippantly throwing their package into the wheelie bin. They were not impressed with how their expensive subscription service was handled.

@MariaBaird13 They tried to do that to me. I lived in a TINY 1 Bed & they thought I should be paying £200p/m. I left them & went over to Octupus. The most I payed was £96 p/m, but now it's £26p/m

@KieraDiss @goustocooking Use lockers ! Inpost is brilliant , But unfortunately, many companies still do not use them. Lockers are great; you can pick up parcels whenever you want (and they are always close ).

@KieraDiss @goustocooking The customer needs to start taking a bit more responsibility too .. brutal place to put the delivery into but you don't have a safe place outside to store your deliveries.. because if he didn't put it in the bin it would probably be stolen and you'd be complaining anyway

@MDamon54147 @KieraDiss @goustocooking I've had parcels left in the bin, when I have asked for them to be left behind the plant pot. They often just dump them where they like.

@KieraDiss @goustocooking Firstly, its likely the instructions to leave in the bin. Secondly, if your expecting him to put his hands into the bin to lower the Item to the bottom he has no obligation to do so. He cant follow correct safe handling procedures doing so, also a hygiene aspect.

@RobertG79908618 @KieraDiss @goustocooking Tbh, they have to leave it because they can't take it back to the depot & as you can chose / change your delivery day, people should do it for when they are home or be happy for it to be left on the doorstep

@susjsosl @4SCRF Well, if you're born and raised in a country, you tend to be that nationality. She will also have a British Passport. Albeit she is dual nationality, so she is British & Albanian
