@jgreenhall Such an API wouldn't just be tech based though. It'd likely require human political ecology to cohere sufficiently, such that policymakers, lobbyists and upstream software engineers are all effectively playing the same meta game. A difficult move to pull off, imo.

Dear blockchain ecosystem, a proposal. You can, of course, play the old game. You can hire lobbyists and donate to legislators. And you should. But your competitive advantage comes from changing the game. Run the old game in an emulator with an API.

In the tools used for education (Zoom, Teams, etc) passing people between different 'rooms' is really hard. Even breakout room features are a bit clunky. I wonder what cool Ed stuff could come from cross-pollinating these two sub-species of video conferencing software?

Whereas in telehealth much of the software seems modelled on the idea that people enter a 'waiting room' and are then redirected to 'consultation rooms'

Interesting comparing the nuances of video conference technology between those used for telehealth and those used for education. I'll call it 'divergent technological evolution' :D
