While i know twitter accessibility has taken a hit, both Quinter and Mo-Tweet are still working fabulously for me. If/when they go away, fine. But, I won't be exiting on the assumption that they're to be disappearing, as many have. I'll wait until it becomes a reality.

@brianhartgen Interesting, well, I hope, whatever weird twist of fate has kept it active continues to work for a while. I do think we have a Mastodon account, and I set a personal one up, but I am avoiding using it until I absolutely must. i don't really do social networking much as it is.

To all the AT companies who do not have a presence on Mastodon yet, you've just lost out on a significant communication channel with your potential product purchasers. The last truly accessible and easy to use method of accessing Twitter has gone. Very well done.

@JennyAxler I agree. That's fighting talk that is right there. If you're going to develop a product which is a possible competitor, that new product should stand on its own merits and you ought to be able to explain its virtues without having to knock the competition or indeed refer to it.

I really can't understand why companies like this feel they need to take the attitude of knocking other devices. A Braille PC is one of the holy Braille products we all want. It will sell on its own merit in a category all its own.

@brianhartgen I don't see it is a competitor, i feele it is a different beast. I could, and would easily use both, just as people every day use phones and tablets as well as their PC's. Even working for HIMS, I have no problem saying I really want one. But not as a BrailleSense replacement.

I strongly disagree! A PC doesn't mark the end of an era for an Android tablet or an iPhone any more than the Optima marks the end of an era for a device like the BrailleSense. I would love an Optima, but I'll use my BS6 just as often, just for different tasks.
