A new leaderboard formula is dropping on @TheDAOLabs marketplace today. See that screenshot at the bottom? That's what everyone in #SocialMininig is talking about. Do you actually understand what it means?
Because honestly, when I first saw it I was lost. I had to sit down and really break it apart before it clicked. So let me save you the stress.
The formula is: Quality Rate × Speed Efficiency × 1000 = Your Score
Your Quality Rate is simple. Every comment you drop gets rated Amazing, Good, Suboptimal or Rejected. The cleaner your record, the higher your rate.
Your Speed Efficiency is about how fast you comment after a task goes live. Drop it fast and you earn 300 points, medium speed gets you 200, slower but still within the window gets you 100.
Now here is the part most people will miss. Both numbers multiply each other. That means if your quality slips, your speed cannot save you. And if you are moving too slow, even your best comments will not carry you. You need both working together.
What the formula does not show you though is that credit management sits right underneath all of this. Pacing yourself at 5 comments a day is smarter than burning everything at once. Your daily performance feeds your weekly ranking, your weekly ranking feeds your monthly. Every single day you show up counts more than you think.
My only concern is validator consistency. Your entire Quality Rate depends on how your comments are judged.
And the truth is, some validators rate quality comments as Good, Suboptimal or even Rejected without a clear reason. That alone can quietly drag your score down no matter how much effort you put in.
One suggestion though. Let the system flag comments that may have been validated unfairly. No miner should lose points they genuinely earned.
What do you think? Is this formula fair?
