I appreciate the NHS is under pressure at the moment but being advised I need a GP appointment after submitting an online consultation and then being told they can’t book one for me is an incredibly frustrating system!

@Pharmacistdaz @rpharms I have emailed them to say the same this evening, whilst opting out. I’d imagine a lot of members have insurance already, we should be allowed to compare policies and prices and make a decision

Dear @rpharms is an "opt out" approach to indemnity insurance for direct debit members is appropriate?
I think it should be opt in - you can remind members of the option when renewals are due, because your Comms are good in this respect.

This week we marked the opening of the new oncology unit at Hexham General Hospital.
The new state of the art facility was officially opened by TV presenter and Hairy Biker Si King and a group of patients who are currently receiving treatment.
