@raghu_venugopal You understand they been working in Canada for years right. Same as the RCMP having officers in other countries. ICE also deals with the import and export of drugs from the United States and big events like this will see an increase in drug trafficking.

People really need to realize that these global sports spectacles are also testing grounds for policing and security strategies. ICE in Milan for the Olympics and in Canada for the World Cup is just the latest example of using these events to introduce new methods of policing.
