We had so much fun at the Science Museum today. These sweet 5th graders have not been able to go on a field trip since second grade!

I cannot think of a more deserving winner. I’ve decided I’m going to fail her because I’m not ready for her to go to 6th grade. ❤️

Our Fabulous 5th Grade Team taught #ourherd staff about “Shift 1: How Comprehension Begins” with our school-wide book study on “Shifting the Balance.” So powerful watching our teachers shine as leaders! @ccpsinfo #oneCCPS

Learning about kinetic and potential energy, so students built their own tracks and experimented to see how they could keep the marbles from being eaten by the alligator. We found that the more collisions we created, the less likely the majority of the marbles would be eaten.
