@vyomaa_verse @jurafsky What I appreciate most in @jurafsky's textbook is: a) being up to date, but leaving in all the classics, b) well-thought building on the previous material. For whatever newest neural-network or speech or multimodal topics, one could reach for other Stanford and CMU courses.

80% of my NLP study material is @jurafsky 's course, 20% of my NLP study material is still @jurafsky 's course but a different person explaining the course as his own.

@vyomaa_verse @jurafsky I found that in some aspects @jacobeisenstein's textbook was more detailed (e.g. CRFs if one wants them in an undergrad course; Matt Gormley's ML lecture notes provided a foundation in that respect). @rycolab's/@ryandcotterell's lecture notes were also a great resource.
