Humans will be extinct in 1 billion years. The Earth will be engulfed by the sun in about 5-7 billion years. However, before humans do go extinct, Andromeda's visibility will have only increased by about 5-10%. To the naked eye, it will look like a dim, fuzzy smudge, just slightly larger and brighter than it does tonight.
