No. 16 @AlabamaBSB remains sizzling hot as Bryce Fowler hit two homers and knocked in four runs in a 10-7 road win over Oklahoma. That's nine-straight wins for 'Bama, and seven-straight in the #SEC. d1baseball.com/scores/

Is this where the ride finally ends or where @AlabamaMBB writes its next chapter of March Madness history? Tonight at 6:35 p.m. CST inside Chicago’s United Center, No. 4 seed Alabama walks into the Sweet Sixteen staring down a giant. No. 1 seed @umichbball has steamrolled its way through the 2025-26 season, piling up a 33-3 record behind a massive, athletic frontcourt and a poised, veteran backcourt that has made winning look routine. On paper, this feels less like a matchup and more like a formality. The question many are asking: is there even a reason to play this game? Michigan has overwhelmed opponents with size, depth and efficiency, bullying teams on the glass while controlling tempo with experienced guard play. The Wolverines don’t just win — they dictate. And that’s what makes this challenge feel so daunting for an Alabama team that, despite a 25-9 record and another deep tournament run, enters tonight as a clear underdog. But March isn’t played on paper — and Alabama has built its identity on defying expectations. Under @nate_oats, the Crimson Tide has turned into one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the country, already knocking down 436 three-pointers this season — the fourth-most in NCAA single-season history. When Alabama gets hot, it can flip a game in minutes. And in March, that’s all it takes. If this script feels familiar, it should. Sports history is built on nights like this — moments where the impossible suddenly becomes inevitable. Think Team USA vs. the Soviet Union in 1980. Think Villanova over Georgetown. Think every giant that has ever fallen when no one thought it could happen. That’s the stage Alabama steps onto tonight. The Crimson Tide is also chasing history of its own. A win sends Alabama to a third consecutive Elite Eight — something never before accomplished in program history. This is already the fifth Sweet Sixteen in six seasons under Oats, and since 2020, Alabama’s 13 NCAA Tournament wins are the most in the SEC. So yes, Michigan is bigger. Yes, Michigan is deeper. Yes, Michigan is favored. Is there a reason to play the game? Absolutely. Because in March, all it takes is one night — and Alabama has made a habit of turning nights like this into something unforgettable.

Embarrassing loss for Bama. Not good. 1-2 in SEC. Can’t believe they lost to this very bad Texas team at home.
