New estimates of business R&D by @ONS now suggest that the UK has met the government target to spend 2.4% of GDP on R&D (which was based on the OECD average).

Lots of comment on this today. Let’s see what the new ‘British Data Protection Plan’ actually is + how different it is from the proposals that had already been published. There are some genuine improvements that can be made to UK data rules but ripping up GDPR is not the answer
