At #COP29Baku our COP Reform letter has been completely ripped out of context. It is to strengthen COP not weaken it. We say - lets celebrate (almost 10 yrs after Paris) that we have a framework to solve the problem. Not perfect, but good enough for accountability and delivery.

Why don't we discuss the fact that Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos & Larry Ellison own more wealth than the bottom HALF of Americans? Part of the answer is that the people who own the media are doing phenomenally well. They aren't interested in highlighting massive levels of inequality.

It is important to understand that the violence Israel is inflicting across the region is US policy. All the hand-wringing from Biden and Harris, the discourse about "ceasefires" and "too many innocent lives lost", is just theatre to diffuse your anger and buy them more time.
