Just what makes a 10x programmer? You're all overthinking it. The 10x programmer is simply one who has programmed in ten times more languages than you.

> Miracles everywhere around us > as far as the eye can see * That's what comes to mind when I browse the work of @djbaskin (just discovered) daniellebaskin.com * I thought this was a well-known quote, but having searched just now, apparently it's not?

I've been telling people that The Visitors at SFMOMA is kind of like SF's own Saturn Return, where the city goes through major transformation whenever it's on exhibit. But then I checked the timeline and shit it's real

The Internet as a medium. 🧵 In 1996, a group of artists in Ljubljana met to discuss work that could only exist on the internet — not images posted online, but art whose medium was the network itself: the browser, the protocol, the link, the server. #eduslop

Ok! So, nobody in my peer group (I was in primary school in those days) loved that game to any notable degree. I was totally hooked for a time. I am glad to finally meet a fellow enthusiast! And what's more, an enthusiast turned creator/builder. Salutations.

Doublings and halvings. In music, after doubling or halving, you get the "same note". Here you have sameness across doublings/halvings too.

@mathMakesArt Food doesn't taste as good if you eat in the dark! Sight supports taste. And I'm thinking with such imagery that "pattern cognition" supports sight.

@JeremySarchet This is the kind of thing I love to hear! I want the visuals to make people wonder about the algorithms underneath. Thanks for your comment.

I've made huge progress today! Here we have diagonal paths, straight paths, and doubling/halving behavior all in one. There are still some bugs remaining, and not everything is finished. But I'm incredibly happy with this result.

@dment37 @geogebra @bancoche When you say "missing the square root of 7", do you mean, it's merely not depicted or that it is nowhere to be found spanning two verticies?
