@usahockey Swayman can’t see the puck. Matthews with the soft attempt, should have buried that puck. Both guys need to sit the third.

Denmark gets one back at the end of the period. 4-3, USA

@drams420 @JamesonCoop Trying to play all defensive positions on every line because there is nobody left
English

@PantherPourri He is on an island out there. Every game he has to face either multiple breakaways, multiple odd man rushes, make multiple saves on each shot because the defense can’t clear a puck.
English

@David954FLA He is more focused on the Olympics than coming back this season.
English

@JPPetersonshow @ToddStaat15 @FlaPanthers Maybe it’s just our turn. For over twenty years the Panthers were just beat down and nobody cared. Players concussed, season ending knee injuries all from dirty hits. All us fans were just told to suck it up it’s hockey. Now that the shoe is on the other foot it’s a problem.
English

@Jeremyb014 @ToddStaat15 @FlaPanthers Everyone who saw the play knows that’s not what happened. Plus the Panthers have more than evened the score there. So how does that explain all the other players the Panthers have targeted and injured?
English

And here we go with the shenanigans! Again!! A @FlaPanthers dirty 2 hand slash to the skates injuring a key player. No penalty! Shocking development!
Sportsnet@Sportsnet
Seth Jarvis will be "out a while", head coach Rod Brind'Amour announced. Jarvis left the game after being tripped by Evan Rodrigues and crashing hard into the post. There was no penalty on the play.
English

@LILLEB3RG If you’re talking about hurting feelings it’s going on 3+years
English

@AGoldFan I agree it was a trip, but if it was as violent and intentional as Carolina fans are making his seem. Why did nobody on the Canes go after Rodrigues? Because even the players knew it wasn’t intentional.
English

Between this, the Marchand cup check on Bussi that led to the first Florida goal, the Greer boarding of Slavin and the Lundell open ice “trip” on Ehlers, it was a blatantly dirty final 15 minutes from Florida. It’s not in Carolina’s DNA but they have to learn to respond to it.
Liam McHugh@liam_mchugh
oh man, really hoping for the best for jarvis after he slammed into the post at high speed. an Olympic hopeful who’s having another big year with 19 goals. also…maybe call the trip?
English

@rbarkleyhockey Carolina fans should be asking the question “why is the team so soft?” Brind’amour was one of the toughest guys in the league when he played and now is soft as ever as a coach.
English

I would say RBA should have challenged it, but at the same time, we know how those go lol

Walt Ruff@WaltRuff
It is what it is, but it looks like Brad Marchand clearly gives Brandon Bussi a whack to where the sun doesn't shine just before the goal, causing him to fall out of position.
English

@ToddStaat15 @JPPetersonshow @FlaPanthers Hagel started the whole thing when he took a run at Barkov’s head in the playoffs. Funny how all everyone forgets that.
English

@JPPetersonshow @FlaPanthers The league does nothing they have hit hagel in the head 3 times now
I hope Tampa bay brings there goons on the ice next meeting
English

@Oilerscat @worldhockeyrpt How did he humble Barkov when Barkov won both cups?
English

@worldhockeyrpt Tell me about it. Did you watch the last two finals? Im so happy Draisaitl showed up and humbled Barkov
English

@JeffVeillette Hagel must not be liked by anyone on his own team. I have never seen ANYONE on Tampa stand up for him. We all know he started the whole thing when he delivered a head shot on Barkov and the Panthers still haven’t forgot it and stand up for their Captain.
English

Brandon Hagel really needs to stop getting his head in the way of the innocent Florida Panthers' forearms, fists and elbows. One of them might catch a light bruise soon
whyhockey@whyhockey
@JeffVeillette Is the illegal means in the room with you?
English

@SabresPlays Sums up Dahlin’s whole career, dishes it out but will never answer for it.
English

@JLo1108 @FultonReed6 I was talking about the last game. Not the game Hagel got hit. Plus why didnt they go after Greer he was playing the last game. They should have stood up like men and went after the guy who made the hit. Panthers did when Hagel hit Barkov, they went after Hagel.
English

@Jeremyb014 @FultonReed6 lol. You are a special kind of stupid aren’t you? We had all our starters playing in Tampa and yet Greer managed to play like a bitch and knock Hagel out of the game. We weren’t taking any chances with the “Saints” from Sunrise.
English

@BudrinoPolitics @KatieEngleson No doubt he was told to do this. Greer was the one who hit Hagel the game before. Why didn’t this talentless goon be a man go after him. Its just obvious he was given orders by Copper.
English

#FlaPanthers Mackie Samoskevich on what transpired in the first period:
“Let them do their thing. Just trying to protect ourselves. They didn’t really plan on playing hockey tonight…we got bigger things coming ahead.”
English

@BlueBuds34 Why not go after Greer. He was playing. When Hagel hit Barkov the Panthers didn’t retaliate by going after Kuch or any other player. They acted like men and went after the guy who caused the problem. Sabourin is just a talentless nobody who went after the first guy he could.
English

Anyone saying this is “cheap” has no understanding what Sabourin’s actually doing.
Greer wants to fuck around, Ekblad found out.
Gino Hard@GinoHard_
Scott Sabourin RAN OVER Aaron Ekblad and then started throwing punches 😳
