Many always think the first #Endsars protest was in October 2020. It wasn’t! There was #Endsars protest December 2017! Only a few people showed up! Infact, @PoliceNG had a huge number of protesters supporting them that same day! When the 2020 #Endsars protest started, many of the 2017 organizers, some of them the pioneers of the hashtag and movement were against it. They thought it would be like the 2017 protest. The more the 2020 protest succeeded, the more they attacked it. Some even called it an insurrection! They wanted the protest not to succeed so they can be right in not being part of it! It happens so often! The same thing is happening again! Those who were part of 2023 campaigns and have now decided not to be part of 2027 will want to be justified in their decision.
