Makes it a really exciting time to be studying global China and the environment. It also, I have argued, a critical moment in China studies more broadly to build collaborations, conversations across communities/disciplines/topics, and bigger knowledge building coalitions.

The point Alex Wang made to start off this panel was about the trajectory of green China as a phenomenon and the resultant field of study - it's just taking off to the point that you get incredible nuance and depth in conversation alongside great overarching connections.
