My colleague @amandacarpenter has written about the "believability gap" - voters don't quite believe Trump will follow through on his authoritarian promises or retribution and revenge. Take note: these billionaire newspaper owners are under no such delusions.

It's heartening to see judges making quick work of these frivolous efforts to disenfranchise voters. With voting underway and two weeks til election day, these are transparent efforts to cast doubt on election results - we shouldn't be fooled.

The RNC is rebooting its strategy for subverting the 2020 election: Spread false narratives about election fraud, disrupt the process of counting votes and finalizing the outcome, and prepare to reject an election outcome they don't like.
