You are a creator and builder of culture. What you believe and how you behave has an impact on the culture of the organization where you work. The culture cannot become what you are not.

Five questions to determine if something matters: 1️⃣ Does it help achieve a goal or solve a problem? 2️⃣ Does it align with your values? 3️⃣ Does it help someone? 4️⃣ Does it make the situation better? 5️⃣ Does it make you better?

The power of knowing what and why.

Leadership is not a position or a title. Leadership is a mindset first, and a skill set second. A leadership mindset is essential. If you don’t think like a leader, you will not consistently do what a leader needs to do.

Leadership isn’t cool. It’s responsibility without control. It’s fulfilling and worth it. It’s also lonely and full of criticism. That’s why so few people do it well. They’re distracted by trying to make leadership cool, then discouraged when they experience the reality of it.

I am responsible for my decisions & behavior. Events have an impact on me, but they don't choose for me. I take ownership of my choices & actions, regardless of circumstance. I don't equate having to make a difficult choice with not having a choice. I always have a choice. Always

Evolving as a professional is 100% a skill. Some do it better, smarter, faster than others. It’s true for all professionals. Those who do evolve increase their impact and advantage. Those who don’t evolve get beat by younger, hungrier, more flexible professionals.
