Ok, so I have a bunch of music, covers that I’m thinking of putting out on bandcamp. 1). Should i even do that and 2). Will i get in trouble?

@JesseFischer Using the media query should mean the image is only loaded if the media matches... but i might need to double check that. I suspect, once chached even if it's loaded again it won't be like a "new image loading" if you know what i mean.

@PaulieScanlon Hi! just getting started w/ Gatsby and have some questions about responsive images. How can I serve the same hero image but w/ diff aspect ratios on different screen sizes? I saw withArtDirection but doesn't seem to really fit the bill.

@PaulieScanlon Using a media query to show/hide each image: would that load the image multiple times (once for each breakpoint)?

@JesseFischer You could create two crops of the same image or use two different images and using a media query show / hide as needed.

@PaulieScanlon Thanks for the quick reply! this is similar to what I have been doing but I thought there might be a more elegant way (i.e. only specify the aspect ratio once rather than both in the query and css). Q: could you do this with StaticImage or only GatsbyImage?

So far I can get it working w/ StaticImage, fullWidth and changing the height via css media queries but seems like there should be a more Gatsby-ish solution taking advantage of the aspectRatio prop and Sharp's attention crop algorithm.
