@JesseHolla it’s hard to be a fan of the wizards because the wizards are constantly doing dumb shit. that being said, you and @Jfarbs18 should hop on the wizards bandwagon and we can all ride off into the sunset (the inevitable beal trade) together.

@jeremykanter I’ve also been consistently surprised at them not trading Beal. I understand wanting to keep a homegrown superstar who’s a legitimate top 5 guard but you’re simply not going to win with him with that team and those assets and with the east actually kinda strong now

@jeremykanter that’s all reasonable but there’s a chance that they’re not selling low on Wall and NBA teams have to pay draft picks to dump bad contracts. I think it’s all the player movement that makes the NBA so fun but I can understand how that makes it hard to be a fan of a single team

@JesseHolla yeah… i don’t dislike russ. i just 1) love john wall, 2) think it’s dumb to sell low on him, and 3) hate that we gave up a first when we’re not remotely close to contending

@jeremykanter I def understand how you’d be upset as a fan. Here’s what is comes down to: their contracts are a wash, Westbrook was better straight up when they both were healthy, and Wall has been injured for 2+ years. That’s why the 1st gets thrown in.

@JesseHolla but russ is two years older. he has an identical contract. we have no idea how good wall will be but he also played hurt his last two seasons. and now we gotta fit russ in a role that was built for a distributor like wall.

@jeremykanter Despite his contract Westbrooks still electric. Has the most busted jumper in the league but still managed 27ppg and 47% from the field last season. He won’t take you anywhere in the playoffs (you’d never get out of the east regardless) but your offense will be fun this year

@JesseHolla time will tell. if anything i think we had to throw the pick in because our gm got sloppy and the trade rumors leaked before he consulted with wall. after that wall wanted out and we had no leverage. totally embarrassing.
