@CinemaTweets1 Absolutely tier 1. Connery is at his best. The blood oath scene, his death, all 👌 DeNiro is an amazing Capone (“baseball!”) and the border set piece is so fun. I think this was like peak Costner time too and I’ve always liked him in it. I would still put it behind all the GFs

The Untouchables has always teetered between a tier 1 & tier 2 mob film. Tier 1 belongs to films like Goodfellas & The Godfather, and I go back & forth as to whether this film deserves to be in that company. This is still a brilliant gangster film with some outstanding moments.
