Senegal understandably raging. A goal harshly chalked off at one end and now a soft penalty given at the other after Diaz’s theatrical fall.

Oh @mosalah 🫣 I can imagine how you feel. You’ve carried this team for a long time and won everything there is to win. But this is a team game and you simply can’t publicly say what you’ve said. You’re going to afcon in a week. Surely you bite your lip, enjoy representing your country and see how the land lies when you get back?

🚨 Mo Salah: “Can I give an example? It’s silly but I am sorry. I remember a while go, Harry Kane was not scoring for ten games”. “The media were like: Oh, Harry will score for sure. When it comes to Mo, everyone is like: He needs to be on the bench. I am sorry Harry!”.

Forcing legends like Mo Salah out of the club by putting him on the bench every match, telling him nothing, and planning to sell him in January while he's at AFCON... That's not a manner of big club like LFC. That's soulless. We love you Mo, we will always speak the truth.

@SalahUpdates “…a dangerous precedent”? I think you’ve got it backwards. The dangerous precedent would be to let players dictate to the manager. This is not about Salah v Slot. Salah has made this about Salah v LFC. Only one winner there.

The club choosing to support Arne Slot over Mohamed Salah sets a dangerous precedent. The club have decided to support a manager who has won nothing in football without Salah, who’s been at the club for almost a decade. Is this how we treat our club legends?
