@AlvizoInes @Ststansberry @joceperezCSUB Sounds like Epic would be a good tool to use in the classroom. I have not taken the time to explore it but I will definitely put it in my to do list.

The teacher can chose an appropriate reading level. Also, Epic also helps with expanding the child's vocabulary.

@JanessicaSanch2 @Ststansberry @joceperezCSUB When growing up they weren’t many applications to help translate words. Most of my teachers knew Spanish. Today google search can translate almost everything & sound it out. @doctor2pi

@Ststansberry @joceperezCSUB A3) I would say a variety of programs, Kahoot, google chat, Epic, anything that can easily transition and allow reading in both languages. Spanish was my first language and the programs now are far more advanced for ELL students. @Ststansberry #CSUBted #csubedte4200

@poe_makenna @tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns @MaddernBryan Sadly this is the case even today in the 21th century not every student has access to a laptop & internet from home. Luckily CSUB was able to lend me a laptop &hotspot to complete my courses when the pandemic hit.

@tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns A2) When covid hit and everything moved online my professors expected me to have access to internet, laptop/computer, and availability to scan documents. @drevanssantiago A4) As an elementary teacher I will create PowerPoints that will be creative to maintain students attention as well as YouTube videos that will assist in the lecture. I will also allow computer lab time. #csubedte4200 #CSUBTEd

Many students don’t have the funds to purchase their own. Allowing them to work at their own at home will help them be knowledgeable! #csubedte4200
