@acook95 @DVSA_HelpMe I am drawing a conclusion based on statistics published by the DVSA themselves. A conclusion that is proved true year on year up and down the country. As for an investigation, why would the DVSA bother? People taking multiple tests means multiple payments of £62.

Yes @DVSA_HelpMe @DVSAgovuk @grantshapps perhaps you could investigate this. Test actual driving ability instead of having examiners trying to trip people up.

@DVSA_HelpMe Then test us on our competence. Shorten the test. Let instructors sign off manouvers and pulling in and out. Just do the independant drive. Thats real world driving. Shouldnt be that you need to know an area because examiners shouldnt be trying to catch people out!

@DVSA_HelpMe @bmendozaitalia Thats not going to clear the backlog though. More people are wanting tests everyday. Given that you yourselves very kindly informed us that more than 50% of us are going to fail, everyone that has failed before the 14th is added to the thousands booking now.

@DVSAgovuk @MollieLeach25 @BorisJohnson @grantshapps @10DowningStreet The government need to start making better decisions. So far this is a mess. Theory tests running out will increase the backlog. The practical test needs some sort of ammendment to clear that backlog too.

@MollieLeach25 @MollieLeach25 no, the Government has decided not to extend theory test certificates. On 14 September we will be making 375,000 more tests available by extending the booking window to 18 weeks ahead for test appointments up until late January.

@DVSAgovuk also are you going to be extending the date of people’s theory tests as mine runs out in February and it’s not my fault the absolute shambles of a system that you’ve got going on is hindering me from booking my driving test. Sort it out.

Sorry for the inconvenience, we know many of you've been waiting a long time to book a test. We have closed the booking service, but from tomorrow you will be able to cancel a test using the Cancel Your Driving Test system if you need to.

@DVSA_HelpMe It is not an inconvenience, it is a farce. Due to my partner passing away, I now need to drive. Then you tell me I have a less than 50% chance of passing. Really dont think instructors who spend 40 hours with us are wrong 50% of the time. Appaling service #DVSAfail

@DVSA_HelpMe You are not sorry at all. If you were you would have got this sorted. Then you have the cheek to say that 50% of us will fail. Thats because you would investigate an examiner with to high a pass rate. You need to sort yourselves out and fast.

@Jonathan_JWP @Jonathan_JWP Hi, the test dates released today are in high demand and not everybody looking to book will be able to. We have currently released tests up to 6 weeks ahead. We will release more slots on 7 September and the on 14 September will release over over 375,000. 1/2

@DVSA_HelpMe Absolute shambles again! Cant find any tests within 100 miles. @grantshapps @BorisJohnson sort this out. The back log is never going to clear at this rate.

@DaltonRussell11 @DVSAgovuk Its not that jobs would be lost, as demand is very high. Its the money as examiners fail more than 50% of people. Its worse now because as soon as you have made a serious fault you are back to the test centre. Lots of people doing a 5 min test! Follow the money lol. #DVSA

❓ Considered using a driving test centre in another town ❓ You’re more likely to find a driving test booking slot today if you’re prepared to look further afield than your nearest centre. From 14 September we're making 375,000 more appointments available.

@grantshapps Are you looking into the farce that is the #drivingtest booking system this morning? Let instructors temporarily pass their students on a coursework basis. If they have no accidents that are their fault, they get a permanent licence. If not they take their test.
