@Ststansberry @joceperezCSUB Epic is a great tool especially for ELL students! Epic has a a lot of different book options that align with certain interests and reading levels! It allows students to work on their English with visuals and even has a read to you option for select books. #csubted

@poe_makenna @MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 Hi Makenna, I agree that google. classroom would be very useful in school. Having access to your assignments any time and anywhere keeps you from falling behind if you have to be out.

@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 A4) I think if google classroom was used in my highschool and middle school days that would help out students a lot more if they were sick and had to miss class. Teachers can post the worksheets on google classroom. #CSUBTED , #CSUBEDTE4200, @MaddernBryan

@Ststansberry @joceperezCSUB A3) Google translate is helpful for students who are ELL. They shouldn't fully rely on that but it's a good back up to quickly check if they need to. Kahoot is also a great tool, they can be quized on words along with their definitions #csubedte4200 #csubted @MaddernBryan

@tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns A2) As a sub, it is apparent access to technology at home creates a tech savviness disparity between children. Often children w/o access to tech at home will struggle to find their assignments or finish them, and will require extra help. #csubted #csubedte4200 @Ststansberry

@poe_makenna @tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns @MaddernBryan Hi there, at the beginning of Covid a lot of students lacked on supplies and not having internet was a huge one. I know some schools provided Wi-Fi hotspots but even those were not very reliable.

@tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns A2) When covid hit and everything moved online my professors expected me to have access to internet, laptop/computer, and availability to scan documents. @arnie_gonzo88 @doctor2pi @Duncannedd Hello, I have not heard of Socrative but Kahoot is always a hit on our classroom. I like that Kahoot gets the students excited to participate in assessments.

@doctor2pi A1) One technology resource I have come to really like and learn about would have to be Socrative and Kahoot. Tools such as Kahoot are helpful to make assessments fun and also give students a fun way to take quizzes. #csubedted4200 #csubedted @Duncannedd
