It's finally happened! A reviewer cited my own work to help me improve my article submission.

@ActionNewsJax please don't spread conspiracy theories on local news. Normal levels of fluoride in public water sources are not linked to lower IQ levels. It is irresponsible to report on "both sides" if one side is not factually supported and easily debunked.

Channelling dissertation writing anxiety and churning out 6,000 words in an article draft today. They're not pretty words but I heard the saying recently that "you can't edit an empty page" and I'm repeating that over and over. I hope future me will thank me.

I'm genuinely curious if @AmericanAnthro exec board heard from colleagues in Florida asking for a boycott of the state. Their email about the annual meeting mentions FL-based ppl and orgs in favor of coming, but I would've expected some on both sides.
