Rural medicine needs to 🛑 diagnosing concussions as mild, mod, or severe at first eval. Pt's concussed. Period. We won't know severity until it's resolved. It's doing the pt a disservice, especially if they have a protracted recovery that indicates > severity

Today starts a new semester at UNLV teaching emergency management of injuries and illness. I’ve been doing this class 10 years now and I’m just curious what are some topics you would cover if you taught the class?
