PASSION FUELS LEADERSHIP A leader has no job without passion. As John Maxwell says, “You will never fulfil your destiny doing the work you despise”. It’s the spark that energizes teams and drives innovation. Passionate leaders are optimistic about everything. They lead with hope even in tough times. Even amidst the wildest fears and challenges, I will always see hope at the end of the tunnel. My friends call me the hope and positivity leader. Sometimes, it may feel like I am an idealistic person, but as leaders, one of our strongest potentials is to give people hope. What is the world without hope. A leader who will continue leading with passion even under a crisis will go far. Passion increases your willpower to push through not only difficult times but also anticipated times. During my time as rotary president I recall the time I wanted us to rehabilitate a health center, unfortunately we did not have a grant that Rotary year, my zeal to see the health center rehabilitated pushed me to the limits of fundraising, of going out of my comfort zone and reached out to anyone who cared to listen. Passion causes you to serve beyond yourself and love beyond yourself. Passionate leaders are highly enthusiastic. They are excited and get fired up on what they are set to do. Do you feel excited doing what you do? If you are not, it’s time to reflect on your passion. Passionate people are contagious. The world needs more passion. People will tend to do what they see. When a leader leads by example, naturally, people will join them. Successful leaders have passion for activities; they do not push but model and inspire others. Passionate leaders make things happen. They want to get it out and get it done. They do take risks. The secret of our dreams is inside our passions. What makes you come alive? #Leadership #Passion
