@anygirlfriday Very true. All of this sounds very similar to my experience but I stuck to what I wanted and got a very good birth experience but they were really trying to scare me with all of these shoulder dislocating stories

I think we do need to talk about medical interventions in labour and how SOMETIMES they are unnecessary but it needs to be done as part of a bigger picture where we are more honest about pregnancy, where midwife funding isn’t cut to the bone so women get more apts and chances

A devastating statistic, but important to consider how we can support these children through both our #curriculum and #pastoralcare in school
