When I was ill I needed to be in a secure environment, but my recovery wouldn’t have been possible without my family being able to visit regularly. I was lucky there was a MBU in my town. Many others aren’t as fortunate 3/3

Just like other MH inpatient care we need to stop out of area placements. This means not just investing in current MBU but also opening new MBUs. 2/3

I don’t want to come across as moaning or seeming selfish but juggling being a parent with working and having a semblance of a life is hard. I can feel my stress levels raised, my temper short and often being on the verge of tears. It’s hard 2/2

I’m finding being parent quite tough at the moment. I love my 4 year old dearly and I know I’m lucky to have her, but I’m struggling. I want silence, I don’t want to be touched, I don’t want everything to be a battle, I want to watch what I want on TV 1/2
