Clemson baseball simply wasn't talented enough, as we have said all season. This was always freakin' obvious, it's the reason all teams lose. 0-4 versus Notre Dame, end of story. The portal acquisitions didn't work, you can change whatever you want, it starts with better players. Virtually every team the Tigers faced in league play had better talent and a better lineup. Add in the fact they all had a better Friday starter, and that is why you lose.

Last Chance Saloon was another fail. People kept talking about IF Clemson won the remaining series (dating back several series) and I kept saying they had only beaten Stanford, that it was more likely they would lose the remaining series. Sadly, they have. This team just lacked talent in almost every area, have to pound the portal and be right in almost every area for next season. This was a talent issue, nobody on this team is All-ACC.
