Hi everyone, we have several updates to share on the recent denial-of-service (DoS) server attacks that have affected Rocket League and our players. We’ve deployed multiple changes to help better detect and defeat the methods used in DoS attacks over the last several weeks. Since these changes went out with update v2.51 last week, DoS reports from players have dropped significantly. With new detection methods in place, we are instantly removing players who use these attacks from online matches, and then banning the accounts in waves. In addition to the changes we’ve made, we've sent a Cease & Desist to a DoS tool distributor. We will not tolerate bad actors who ruin the experience for other players. Anyone caught distributing or using DoS tools will be banned and may face legal consequences. We'll continue developing more ways to catch DoS exploits. Thank you for sticking with us while we’ve worked behind the scenes to solve this.
