I get matched with this guy. I see hin on a 17-win streak. We start playing, and suddenly we get disconnected from the server. I queue for ranked again, only to realize I lost points and he got the win. (Now with 18-win streak.) Why ??@danfornace @RivalsOfAether

@_Hex38_ Exactly why do they nerf Maypul’s and Oly’s air speed like 3 times in Maypul’s case but refuse to change Clairen’s speed at all???

@JestreLitwick Imo they need to nerf her speed. She's the second fastest char in the game while also has the second fastest dash in the game. If she's slower she cannot confirm so many hits and her neutral gets worse. Imo just by tweaking that she'll be in a better spot without losing identity

If Clairen was brought to the same difficulty level as every other character in the game, every single one of them would drop 200 elo MINIMUM permanently

@electriccoil I hate when people say “she’s not that broken guys” like okay sure but she shouldn’t be as good as everybody else at WORST and also the easiest character in the game by a mile. Plus Maypul loses to her bad so I’m personally biased.

@TrueMoeru Unfortunately, it's a result of Ultimate's mechanics. The game is supposed to be "agressive" but the issue is that approaching people is so difficult because of how deliberate and sticky the movement of the game is, so the best strategy is often to just throw out safe disjoints.

It’s really hard not to be cynical about Ultimate right now when even at the lowest levels of play the game has been moved to a stand still in terms of how interactions go. It’s optimized reversals and rolling and never interacting as much humanly possible. I miss the game I love
