Part of why Better Than Dead has a female protagonist is because I really love that side of Hong Kong action cinema.
There are many films with female leads, even if a lot of them are not very well known outside Asia.
BTD is also a small tribute to that tradition.

I'll say one thing for now which I'll expound upon tomorrow: it's beautiful how you can specifically point to signature/unique aspects of both Kenji Tanigaki and Kensuke Sonomura's styles in key moments of this trailer
and there's also the moments they fuse together.

@kickassvargas Fight Against Evil 3 ! They got some stunt guys from The Furious in that too, some great fights there too, whole trilogy's awesome, but the third is the best so far, Tse Miao in general imo along with Ashton Chen are carrying Chinese martial arts action cinema today.
