🚨| RAYE talking about Taylor Swift: “It’s just nice to see someone at the top of their game just being grounded and lovely, the internet is so cruel. It just made me want to start a fan account and be like, ‘shut up about her!’ She’s so nice!”

@Emileejanetombs @TelegraphTravel Hi Emilee, would love to get involved and document any recent or future trips. Came back from Fuerteventura and managed to do quite a lot without a car . Also going next month to turkey - I would add we keep booking our trips a few days before departure keeping life exciting !

@monisha_rajesh I'll venture to l'ile de la cité, little island accessible through a bridge where university La Sorbonne is. Great place to just have a stroll on cobble stoned streets, with plenty of coffee shops and book shops. This area of Paris is just a nice place to watch life going by.

If you had just one day in Paris, what would you do? Where would you have lunch? What would you visit? Assume you've seen the tourist hotspots already...

@LenniCoffey Beautiful written piece. You perfectly picture the struggle it is to organise a meet up with existing friends, and that won’t be for a few months!

Anyone got a good, new podcast recommendation? I like a limited series that tells one gripping story. Recent ones I've enjoyed: I Am Not A Monster Bed of Lies The Fault Line Spy Affair

President Biden has removed the Diet Coke button. When @ShippersUnbound and I interviewed Donald Trump in 2019, we became fascinated by what the little red button did. Eventually Trump pressed it, and a butler swiftly brought in a Diet Coke on a silver platter. It's gone now.

@BbkEnviro What a shame to see that study finding plastic to be a common cause of death for whales, turtles, sea lions and other mammals. That makes you wonder where the extra plastic supposed to protect us during a pandemic is going. Not doing any good

The man who has overseen the firing of thousands of long serving British Airways staff walks away with an £800k+ bonus and earnings of £3.2m in earnings in 2019. Absolutely disgraceful. theguardian.com/business/2020/…

@Wanderlust_Lyn I believe that as far as we raise consciousness and educate others on the importance of not living a waste print behind us we will do some progress. Whilst it might not be much, if we are all in this together, the impact can be quite literally life-changing.
