EA most likely sent a cease-and-desist, which forced him to put out that statement and take everything down. If they didn't do anything, he probably wouldn’t have cared at all. He knew exactly what he was doing.

@sid_plme @Mldy96 @Nades EA is greedy as fuck. And I know for a fact it will be worse in Project X for sure. Yet according to all the leakery I am still curious what this game will end up being. I have always been very critical of EA and The Sims 4.

@Mldy96 @Nades @JetpackDiva @TheSims Exactly that’s what I am saying- like no one cares that it was made from a scraped onlinegame, then they should have left the sims 3 going for 1-2yrs more it was fine. They just got greedy and put the most BASIC things in packs and updates to make it seem major since the bg ain’t

@TheSims So this is really the direction this franchise is heading? Billions in buyout debt have to be covered somehow and what’s the easiest way to do that? Squeeze more money out of one of the most loyal communities. It’s genuinely sad to see what this franchise has become. Really sad.
