Ohio’s town of Marengo (Pop: 280) erupted in cheers over the weekend. Local track star, University of Cincinnati *freshman* Juliette Laracuente-Huebner, is the Bearcats second-ever NCAA All-American in the heptathlon. “I am very, very proud of representing small town athletes.”

Laracuente-Huebner is the 25th girl in #OHSAA history to win four events in a single state tournament. She is just the sixth to do it without being part of a relay team.

#OHSAA TRACK AND FIELD: New state record! Marengo Highland's Juliette Laracuente-Huebner clears 5-10.75 in the Division II girls high jump, setting a new Division II state record and state tournament record. It is the 5th best mark for any girl in state tournament history.

With a Long Jump of 19'2.5 @JettaEtta wins the Div.II Central District title. In the High Jump, Juliette finished second with a jump of 5'5. On to Regionals next week!
