I’m in Tokyo where students at the University of Tokyo have begun an encampment for Gaza. Their demands include an academic boycott, disclosing and divesting from companies associated with Israel, and that the university takes in Palestinian students and researchers from Gaza.

I promise you, they’re just fine.

South Africa is seriously something else. Protect those representatives. They're up against a genocidal regime. Understand that, they're up against global sociopaths that have committed assassinations overseas and in other countries. Nonetheless, today we see that South Africa, chose to go up against genocide. My respect, regardless of it all and my lack of faith in international justice amid this extermination I'm witnessing, my respect to South Africa, still being plundered and abused, still collecting the pieces of what was pillaged in its core by colonizers, what continues to be pillaged by the abusers that can't let go. Thank you, South Africa, for refusing to remain idle and neutral on slaughter.
