I really don't get why artists HATE their stuff being reupped to booru sites when: >It gets properly attributed / sourced to them 99% of the time >Their art is isn't at the whim of an algo which picks and choses who gets to see it or not on a whim >Easier to look at their work without having to scroll 999 irrelevant food pics or reaction images in their media tab There's basically no difference between it being on a booru site and pixiv other then pixiv they have more control over it - both are essentially just portfolios of their work.

@yoru_flac Aren't driving games also technically gacha? I used to play Asphalt 8 and your chances to get a car you want there are worse than getting a character in any anime gacha game. Of course Asphalt is an extreme example, i guess there are games where you can simply unlock a car.

If it were truly a soulless project in such a competitive industry, it simply wouldn’t stand out the way it has. We can’t deny that AI may have been used for certain types of assets that do not represent the final product, but that still doesn’t fully address the underlying issue. As for an official statement from Hotta Studio, we have already reached out and are currently waiting for a response. This may take some time, as it is currently Golden Week in China, which includes several non-working holidays. Regarding the sponsorship situation and the denial of AI use, it’s important to clarify that each department operates independently. This falls under the marketing department’s responsibility in terms of communication with influencers, and the situation was not handled with complete transparency. We are currently awaiting an official statement from the staff regarding the controversy that has emerged. The situation is delicate. While the issue originated in Asia and was actually received fairly positively there, it has now escalated to the point where forums in China and Japan are discussing the controversy being stirred up by the West over what many consider to be a minor issue. @schizohealer Funny enough if you visit China... a lot of their posters and banners are also AI gen-ed. But those brands who wanted to look more premium had actual artist working on them. (Mercedes, Audi, etc)

By the way, for people hoping Ananta somehow has no AI, the existing beta apparently has it in a lot of places sprinkled in randomly according to people. The Anti-AI crowd either has to quit gaming in the near future or get used to it.

@schizohealer @Alan_GreySchnee To be fair, most complains I have regarding AI is the slop rather than the usage. AI is a tool and a tool should be used, but not fully dependant upon. For example: Go to any image board and find decent art these days. They are best when used with professionals in their roles.

@UnwrittenBl4nk I was going to comment Sony Xperia but I think you got to buy extensions now. As for the ROG and Redmagic series of gaming phones, they are pretty damn powerful to run games at 60 fps but Ultra graphics is gonna be thermal hell. And well... compact enough to bring around to play

Cant access to pc today so have to use my mid phone that i never use to play to log and it's god awful. We used to only have puzzle and dragons and the like for mobage but we have full blown action games all over now. So why isnt there a phone like this today?
